Things to Keep in mind when using an Induction Moka Pot
Here are some things to keep in mind when using a Moka pot on an induction.
Use Hot Water in the Base
Instead of using cold water and then heating the cold water in the Moka pot on induction, it’s better to use hot water and then take it to a boil.
If you use cold water, it can lead to a slightly bitter taste in coffee and steam slowly builds up
Coarse Grind the Beans
If you grind your own beans, it’s best to coarse grind them when using them in a Moka pot.
Of course, don’t take my word for it and try with all different types of grinds, but experts believe that coarse grind coffee takes better when made with a Moka pot.
Remove from Induction when Coffee Flows
When you put the Moka pot on the induction stove, it will heat the water, and steam and boiling water will pass through the coffee.
If you see the coffee coming out with a lot of pressure, remove the Moka pot from the Induction.
Cool the Base Once you get the desired Coffe
Once you have the coffee you need, run the base of the Moka pot under cold water to stop the brewing.
It ensures that residual steam doesn’t change the flavor of the coffee.
In this article, I have reviewed the best induction Moka pot that you can get.
I hope you found this article useful.
